I am planning a thru hike starting at the Northern Terminis and heading south . I expect to move at about 15 miles per day Starting Sept 4 or 5 2010

Please post what day and time you will be at the NT when the time gets close. I would like to be there to wish you well on your trip, if my schedule allows.

going to try to get out with a buddy and see if we can get between dry branch and holy fork in better shape.
keep hearing its bad.

cant promise itll be before your hikethru but going to try!

I'm down on the south end if you need anything around Cumberland Falls/Whitley City area. The trail crosses Hwy 27 about 4 miles from where I work.

As it turns out I am scheduled to work both of those days and won't be able to see you off at the NT. I wish you all the best and look forward to reading your trip report.
