drinking one! Check out what I found at Liquor Barn here in Lexington. This one is a really good ale that reminds me a lot of Sam Adams Summer Ale. It's nice and light with lots of underlying flavors. They also had an IPA but I didn't buy that one yet. I do know it's a micorbrew made somewhere near Lousiville. I don't know if it's a large scale operation or someone doing it from their garage. I do know that it is good stuff though. I believe that it is sold exclusively by Liquor Barn.

Boyd, we should see if they have a web site and do a little cross promotion. They give us a link on their main page and visa versa. It could get this site a few more hits and help raise some ST awareness... and help promote their brew.

Oh ya!

A neighbor gave me one to try, and I thought it was tasty.

Hey Chilton, that's a great idea to cross promote. Do you know who the brewer is? I googled slightly, but nothing jumped out. Must be pretty new and/or especially micro.

But all I can say is that good beer is one of life's simple pleasure. Besides, how can you not like a beer that celebrates ky, daniel boone, a turtle, shawnee and hiking?

Anyway...cheers!

It's brewed by BBC, Bluegrass Brewing Company. They don't this listed on their main site, it's a small company, but they may be working on it. Either way it'd be a good idea to see if they're interested.

Wow, I didn't know BBC had a Sheltowee beer. I'll have to check it out. Hopefully they keep it on tap at their Louisville locations Razz

They make it exclusively for liquor barn. That's the only place you can get it, perhaps at the bar owned by the brewery.
